Another shipment out the door.
We’re just keeping up or ‘almost’ with our US deliveries. We’ve prioritized this market and it’s starting to effect our ability to get boats to other places. We don’t mind honestly, we enjoy selling our boats over there, that’s for sure.
However, we’re just about to have our first container arrive in Europe, but it’s already all sold, and we still haven’t even managed to get another one even on the water. People are having to put there names on a waiting list. The situation in the UK is no better. Our apologize but it is a good situation to be in, selling the boats right as they come through production.
And production has been cranking well. We’re sticking with our core crew, one solid shift, getting the boats easy, and doing it well. In truth we’re getting far more out the door than ever before and not having to work all night to pull it off. We’ve been doing it awhile so I guess we should be getting a handle on things!!!!!
I have to confess… I’m sooo much happier to be sending a crate load of kayaks down the road to market from the old woolshed, than a load of friendly, trusting, lambs off to slaughter, which is in fact, a little more in keeping with our family tradition!!!!
Save the sheep and go kayaking…..
