Well….. While we’ve been shoveling snow away from the door the stories of summertime, wicked boating and good times have been coming in thick and fast. Better I share some with you… Here’s a quick one from some guys we set up with the new Mystic’s and a lucky story to boot. What can I say to this guy, I need to get Norm on the job to see if we can’t find a spare Mystic for him soon but it ant so easy as the boats are all ordered even before they leave our factory here in NZ!!!!!!!!
To whom ever is the bib dog; I am writing for severl raesons. Frist I must say that I have been a fan day 1. I have owned two HUKA 's and love it, but from the frist time I saw the new Mystic I knew I needed one. Good for me my great friend Olaf had some sent and life was loofing good. from the frist night I knew that this was the boat.
Now comes the bad news. I was out for a great day of high water on the teton with my buds ollie,mick, bill ,and pete. three of us got the new boat and were having a great run till this log thought it would be fun to jump into my boat with me. I ended up getting pined with the log though my skirt and into my cockpit. After 5 to 10min. and no hope of help from my crew. I had to abandon ship take on one hell of a lugly swim. Once we were able to see no hope of a resuce , the guys had to get moving a I had to hike out. The next day we were on our way to go back with some more gear and save my baby. Well needless to say she wasn't there . sevreal days later we found my girl. Now I got to say that I can't beleave the hell that she went though to get to her final resting place. After days or so of running some great class 5/6 boating she took a great betting.
Now I not writing to try to get somthing for free nor am I expecting it. I just letting you know that only after one week of boating the best boat I have ever been in and see what kind of ponishment it can go though , has me soldf. I just don't have the fundsto buy another one this rright now, or anytime to soon. So if there is any kind of way that we could work something out with a shell or something that would me so great. A lover without a freind
